Goodby to the van

I have to tell you - I am really tired of this car! At times I feel like it's a 50/50 proposition whether I'll make it home (to be fair, this has been (replaced transmissions aside) a reasonably reliable form of transportation for the last 14 years, and there's not much else I can point to that has that kind of longevity and service. More importantly, it is attached to a number of events - going to college; trips to the coast, Massachusetts, Jazz Festivals in Montreal, weddings, funerals and all the other milestones in our life. In some ways it will be sad to see it go (but obviously not sad enough try to patch it together to go for another 14 years) I'm sure my nostalgia will be inversly proportional to the length of time it takes to get it sold.
